The 17th is a par 4 with a canal running across the fairway about 175 yards out. You can carry the canal with your tee shot but you’ll find a small landing area on the other side of the canal.

If you don’t want to risk a penalty shot, hitting a middle iron short of the canal is the best approach, setting up your second shot to the green. You have water left of the green and a sand bunker to the right. See the shot you want to play into the green and trust your swing.
